"It is a closely guarded secret, passed down through the ages. It's exact specifications are unknown, but we know the Corineus family contains the only people who know about the Diamond. We have a spy acting as a servant in their manor down on Kneelig Road by the Town Square. The Corineus's may have the Diamond hidden within the manor or they may have stashed it away in some dungeon below the town. The security surrounding it is unknown.
The reward will be 200g and our trust. "
The figure stands on the very edge of the shadows, ready to jump in and disappear.

"Definitely. He will ensure you get in. Your main objective is to bring us the Diamond of Wistvale, but your secondary objective is to not blow our spy's cover. If the Corineus's torture him to learn information from him, kill him."
The figure rubs two gloved hands in front of Cephen.
"We have waited long to acquire to Diamond of Wistvale. We can wait longer. Take your time and be sure your cover is not blown, but remember:"
The figure begins to step back into the shadows.
"You are replaceable."
By the time Cephen notices, the figure has totally entered the shadows and disappeared.

Cephen walked out of the alley, then headed behind the back of the Corineus's house, My client is certainly...odd...but he promised a good payment... He climbed over the gate and saw a serveant, he crept into the shadows, then grabbed him, with his dagger wielded and against the servant's neck "Are you the spy?"
The Spy nodded, "You must be Cephen, your greeting is an...unusual one, but I can get you inside, follow me." He lead Cephen into a small hut, then opened a hatch, hidden under the bed, he pulled out the body of an important visitor, who had almost compromised his cover, forcing him to kill him, "The master is concered why he hasn't visited, you are the right height, I guess, so as long as you keep the hood of the cloak up, then you should get inside."
Cephen disguised as the guest, then The Spy lead him inside the house, "Master, Sir Sorino is here."

The hall is carpeted lavishly and fine furniture and lanterns adorn the room. High up above the second floor, beams curve up to support the roof. The house smells of old wood, old wool and cheese.
The nobleman that the spy refered to as "master" walks down a large staircase with a landing on the right and left sides on the second floor. He is beaming and excited.
"You must be Harvastus! I was worried you had been assailed on your way to our little hamlet."

Cephen thought for a second, what excuse could he think of? "There was a small problem with our communication, I said I was arriving today, I'll have to hang, draw, and quarter whoever's fault that is!"

The master slaps Cephen heartily on the back and beams with happiness.
"Let's adjourn to the dining hall. I beleive supper is about to be served."
The master leads Cephen through a hall on the first floor to the long dining hall. Candles were lit and the light of the dying Sun still came in through the windows.
"Come, sit! Eat!"
As Cephen sits down at the table a cook with a huge covered platter on his hand bursts through a door to what Cephen can see is a kitchen. The cook pulls the lid off the platter
SSSSHHHHHIIIING
The platter is full of food including bread, vegetables, a cooked duck and a large cooked porcine animal with an apple in its mouth. As the cook begins serving the food, the Corineus family begins to file in from different doors.
A young man with a bright yellow cape sits across from Cephen and gives him a little "Hello." Cephen guesses he is the older son of the family. Heir to the master and an apprentice sailor.
A young woman enters next. She is dressed in a green dress that contrasts with the finery of the men. She lacks any jewelry or adornment and her hair hangs at shoulder length. She gives Cephen a small wave and Cephen guesses she is the daughter.
A boy in his teens comes in after daughter. His clothing style follows that of the master and his son. He has a necklace with some sort of jewel in the center. He seems happy and waves to Cephen who guesses he is the younger son.
A woman enters after the boy and sits at the right hand of the master. Cephen is sure she is the matriarch of the household. She gives the young boy a stern look and the boy tucks a napkin into his lap.
The master speaks.
"Harvastus this is my family. My elder son Eron, my younger son Yoric, my daughter Daria and my wife Wendesta.
Harvastus is here to care of our problem with the Florencian family and I want you all to treat him like family while he is here.
Now then, let's eat!"
The family begins to chow down on the food in a way not too different than the lower class.
Wendesta speaks.
"Harvastus,"
She takes a large bite of the duck.
"I've heard you were raised not too far from here. Would we know your family?"

Cephen shrugged, "Perhaps. Now, I know this is probably just a silly rumor, but I hear you've got possession of some valuable artifact, some form of gem, or something like that? If it is true, how the hell did your family obtain this thing?"

"He would have put it in the vault below his cellar. There's a door to the cellar behind the Florencian Manor but they have two guards circling the grounds."
Wendesta speaks up again.
"Henry there's no reason to send this man to steal a jewel from somewhere you're not even sure has it. It could be anywhere."
"Damnit, Wendesta! I am totally sure that Erol stole the jewel and I will take every expense to bring it back."
The children eat their dinners silently, mostly looking down.

Cephen nodded, "Florencian Manor, eh? Do you know where it is?" He pulled out a map that he found in Harvastus's pocket, "Could you point the rough location out in my map?"
