Should you decide to stop on by and whether you're a new face or a veteran here, I invite you to post here and let us know who you are (especially if you've been more organized than myself and have a new profile set up).
This would be my most well known profile and therefore, most people know me as Gray. Alternatively, I get called Ren from time to time as well, due to the alternate version of this same character.
I've probably played a dozen or so characters throughout my time at the Menagerie, many of which I'm pretty fond of and all of which are retired.
I started 'The Menagerie' as a stand-alone thread over on the Heroscapers website back in 2007 (it seems much longer ago now). There were already some nutters inhabiting the place that seemed like they wanted a setting to rp in, so I thought to oblige. You can see our humble origins here:

The Menagerie has been through it's share of reinventions since then, The Third Dawn and the Wistvale versions definitely being the most in depth and successful. If you look in the archives, you will see what I consider the best version of the game and also the latest.
Being that people move on and nothing lasts forever, Poppet and I thought it a grand idea to adapt 'free role play' for at least a time and see if we can't generate some interest in writing once more.
Some people have left us and sadly won't return, but we're also hopeful that we can make some new friends here at The Menagerie.
