Antonio reaches the path and Ol Bear turns to chase. The GM meanwhile encourages Antonio to be more descriptive.
(I am going to allow you to tell the story of how you, on this path run and somehow manage to incapacitate Ol Bear. Don't kill him, you'll want to talk to him.)
Antonio ran on the small trail for a couple of minutes, hoping anything he could hide behind would show up. But it didn't work like that.
The path was small, which fitted Antonio better than Ol' Bear. He could run faster, while Ol' Bear had to stop a couple of times to remove overhanging plants. He had an edge on Ol' Bear, but had one problem.
It had been raining a couple of days ago which turned the dirty path into a muddy path. It was very slippery and Antonio's steel boots didn't help.
They were running straight forward and that was Antonio's luck. But it looked like he was out of luck. The trail turned upwards, going up a hill. Antonio continued onwards, trying to keep his edge on Ol' Bear, but he slowed down as he went up the hill. His feet slipped around in the mud, as he fell forward, trying to crawling upwards.
He heard a deep growling sound coming from the start of the hill. Ol' Bear had been catching up on him and his feet were built for this kind of running. He had no problem walking up the hill and got half the way up to Antonio. His eyes were still as red as before and he sounded just as angry.
Antonio would be killed if he didn't do something right now. He turned around, laying on his back now. He started sliding down the hill. His armor worked as a sledge as he slides towards Ol' Bear. The bear didn't notice what Antonio was doing. He was focused on getting up in a hurry and was looking at the ground right in front of him.
The samurai blade was still in Antonios hand as he slides by Ol' Bear. He swung the sword and it hit Ol' Bears left leg. The massive bear growled highly as it fell over. They tumbled down the hill and Ol' Bear ended on top of Antonio, who was now pressed to the ground. Ol' Bear was hurt even more now. He was exhausted from a combination of the chase and loss of blood, to make matters worse, he was also limping now. Ol' Bear got up slowly, limping over to a tree to sit down. He had lost his weapon on his down, it got stocked in some trees overhanging the path.
Antonio was exhausted, but still had the energy to get up and bring his sword with him. He walked over to Ol' Bear slowly, getting ready to finish this old bear of.

Ol' Bear was indeed in bad shape, the massive creature's head was hanging low, his chest showing his breathing was labored. The massive beast groaned and pulled his hand away from his side, which showed a jagged branch jutting from a gaping wound which was bleeding profusely.
The massive creature stared at Antonio, face turning enraged and then back to complete exhaustion. He was dying and had no fight left in him.
"You just ate the wrong thing.. Sorry." Antonio was now in front of Ol' Bear and raised his sword even more. He turned it around, tip down. He stuck the sword into the bears chest, hitting the heart on the way down.
He pulled out the sword and turned around to walk away. He only got a couple of feet away from the bear, when he fell over. He was totally exhausted and had to rest for a while before he could get back to the laborers.
As Antonio recovered, he could hear a strange cracking, popping sound. Turning about to look at the body, he saw as the form of the massive bear slowly shifted back to human. The man had the same blue markings that had covered his fur but was otherwise entirely naked. And dead.
Antonio, who was still weakened, got up slowly. He went over to the body of the dead man. He wondered why anybody would do this to themselves. Why would he accept being a monster?
He lowered his head and said a low prayer. He took his time and found some big leafs to cover the body of the dead man. He covered him and finished his prayer.
Antonio found his headband and did his hair before moving on. He walked down the small path again and walked by Ol' Bears small camp with his head lowered. He returned to the field, where the laborers had been working.
He found the biggest of the men and approached him with a low voice. "It is done. Ol' Bear is dead."
The men stopped and stared at Antonio - then at one another. The large one was slack-jawed, but approached Antonio; leaning on the fence.
The workers disbelief was soon replaced by awe - they didn't get their Yakow back but they had not considered that Antonio may be able to defeat the massive beast.
As payment for his trouble, they fed Antonio with the best food and wine they had in their larder and allowed him to get off his feet and share a few tales whilst he ate. His sword was sharpened and his boots and armor were cleaned as compensation.
When the revelry was done, Antonio was shown their stockpile of lumber - some processed for fire wood, more of it processed for building. He was given the go ahead to help himself to whatever timber he could make use of and was even given a hand cart to carry it to his destination.
All in all, Antonio had done what was thought impossible and made some new friends. There were no riches or gold to be had for these were but simple folk. but their gratitude, a full belly and materials he needed were ample compensation.
As Antonio was leaving, two of the men (who had been in the woods that morn) came out of the woods from 'Ol Bears trail and waved him off. They were dragging 'Ol Bear's weapon behind them, they'd obviously found it where it had gotten stuck. It would likely end up above their mantle.
It was off though. The hammer had the same blue markings that 'Ol Bear had across his fur. Perhaps it was his imagination, perhaps he was mistaken... but Antonio thought for but one second that both of those men had blue markings on their arms, the same arms that dragged that hammer home.
Fini.
5 Acclaim and timber! I have no idea what amount of timber you wanted and what for, but it's all yours.
