Dionne was coming back from the tavern, pretty exhaousted. It was yet another day that has pased, where she hasn't managed to find any decent way to make coin.
And she wanted it. When she first took off for Wistvale, it was to change her life. To change the fact that she was sleeping in a simple wooden shelter, made of couple of branches and leaves. Change the fact that she was always alone, with no friends to share joy or sadness with. Change the fact she had no one at all to call her own.
The more she thought about it, the more sad she felt. With a sharp shake of the head, she took her bow off her back, and took deeper into the forest.
It didn't take her long to find a good distraction from the lonely thoughts. As she went through the forest, determined to find something else to occupy her mind, she manged to come across some deer tracks.
She tracked her dinner for several hours, the task dispersed the shadow clouding her mind, and along with the calm sound of the forest, she started to feel a little more up beat, that when she entered the pille of wood that Dionne called home.
It was on a plain that she caught the sight of the magificent beast. The deer, in all its glory, stood, grazing on the grass beneath it. She felt bad, having to slaughter such a creature - It wasn't cattle, bred for such a thing, but in her mind, a wonder of nature.
Taking an arrow from her quiver, she set up to take the shot, and take her dinner home.
(Don't post please, something's been arranged.)
