::A small object flew from the shadows where the movement had come from and hits Redblade square in the chest before he has time to react. The thin fabric of the object rips and a bright powder spreads across him as a smell familiar to those that frequent certain kitchens would recognize as a spice used there.
Neko steps from the shadows and sticks her tongue out at Redblade to show what she thought of his name calling before motioning them both forward towards the door she had come through at the front, and the small object on the ground there.
Upon closer look, it appearded to be the man's coinpurse. Now empty. Tracks could be seen heading away down the street. There was not alot of people out at this time, so the chances of the tracks being covered by others was slim...for now.::
Upon being hit by the object and breathing in the powder, he takes a strong sneeze.
The hell was that?
He wipes his arm over his nose to wipe away the powder. Seeing the cat come out of the shadows was actually a relief. He then raised his arms up to his sides and shoulders up a bit to her.
What did I do?....
Looking over the object again by the front door he begins to inspect it a little more this time.
Looks like they took his money.
They were lucky it was late now, for the tracks were still fresh. He begins to follow them in hopes of finding these theives.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
"All that trouble for a simple robbery? This guy is either super rich, or made enemies..Or both" Dionne though with a little bit of a sigh as she followed Redblade silently, her mind in thought. Murder for just a purse seems rather strange, there must be something behind this. Looking down at the tracks, she asks her companions quietly;
"So, what'd be the reason for the attack? Seems a bit extreme for just robbery if you ask me.

::Neko nodded in agreement with the woman as they followed behind the masked man as he lead them along the path of the tracks. She was a bit distracted from her search, trusting in the skills of the man before them, as she mulled over what might have happened...
Suddenly she stopped and placed her hand on the woman's arm gently to get her attention. She she looked, she would mime putting up a fight, then getting stabbed.
Perhaps that all it was? They had tried to take the man's coin and he fought back and was stabbed for his bravery. A sad thought, but she knew it happened.::
::The trail led what accounts for a couple blocks in Wistvale before cutting to the right down another narrow passage between buildings. The tracks ended at a heavy looking metal drain in the ground. The soft sound of flowing water could be heard coming up from below. Runoff from recent rains.::
As they were still following the tracks, Redblade responded to Dionne with a whisper.
Desperate measures in desperate times I suppose.
People would do anything for gold these days, but something told him there was more to this than they were aware of. Only time will tell tho.
Having stopped where the tracks did, he looked over at his companions.
Looks like we are about to get wet... Help me open this, yeah?
He kneels down to get a better look at how to open the drain.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Dionne wasn't the strongest of types, but neither did Neko look like a bruiser either. She put her blades away, and knelt down. Without looking at red, she said in a low tone;
Hearing their voices, Redblade knew that they had finally caught up to them. So close, yet so far with the grate in between them. How to do they get down there without alarming them lifting the grate. There seemed to be no other way but to hopefully be as quiet as possible lifting it. He looked over to Dionne and placed his index finger to his lips as to signal to be quiet.
Grabbing the bar and places one end on one of the corners of the grate as he slowly begins to try and use it as a leverage, pushing down on his end.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Dionne got the hint, however she took her blades out first and put them aside then helped him to lift the grate as quiet as possible. If all went to plan, perhaps they could get a jump on them?
::Neko continued to stand back out of the way, waiting for the moment when the grate was open enough for her to fit. She wanted to be ready to go as soon as the path was clear. If they DID hear the grate move, she wanted to give them as little time to react as possible.::
::The grate lifted on one end with a soft grating of metal on metal. There was no sign from below as to whether they had been detected as the voices had stopped just before they started to move the grate. Once lifted, it was easy to pivot the grate to lean against the wall to keep it open.
That left a hole in the ground big enough for one person to enter at a time.::
Not hearing any signs that they had heard them open the grate, Redblade decided to jump on in first, being a gentleman about it and all. He enters his body with his hands holding to the sides to not fall in hard, but tries to make the quietest splash possible if there were water underneath.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Dionne follows, jumping down, into a crouch to minimalise the sound she'd make. Giving her blades a little spin, she gestured to Redblade, as if asking where to now.
::Neko rushes forward as the other drop down the hole and slips in behind them, landing in a crouch.
You all land in shallow running water that covers your feet, but doesnt reach your knees. To either side are raised cobblestone areas. Ahead and too the rear are small openings in the walls that the water is flowing through. To fit, one would have to crawl, and even then it would be tight for all but the smallest of frames.
To the left of where you land there is a metal gate closing off an opening with a small opening at the top.
The gate is currently being slammed shut by a red-headed male Cathian dressed in shabby looking clothes. He flashes the group a smile and the jingle of a coin purse before running away.
There is a flash of movement from behind you two as Neko rushes forward to the gate and climbs up and over it with amazing grace and disappears down the hall on the other side.::
Yelling out to the cat for leaving without them, he rushes over to the gates and tries to open them with much concern in his mind. Getting a smile from one of the ones they were pursuing was not a good sign at all. Either he wanted to be followed all this time, or they already had a trap set for anybody who did track them down and they were falling right into it. It mattered not at this point, it was not a good idea to be splitting up at a moment like this anyways.
Come back here!!

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
"Woah, she's fast..and kinda cute" Dionne thought to herself before rushing towards the gate. The smile on the strangers face did not concern her, she was ready for a fight, even though she was a bit tried. She pushed past Redblade, and with a sigh, put her blades away.
"Hate to say it, but cover my back..." She had no choice but to trust this guy. However as she couldn't see any weapons on him, it'd have to be something small, so in the worst case, she'd take him down with her. Letting her hair fall loose, she took three small and rusted needles, and began picking the lock. As her black hair falls down onto her shoulders and back, blue flames beging dancing around her hands as she focuses on the lock.
[In case we're still going by the old system, ignore the flames since there is no source]
