The fish all look well enough but of course, would not live in a barrel for much longer.
"No, didn't catchem myself, but my husband did. Not much money to be made though, seems everyone is too poor to afford much fish these days. He can catchem by the cartload, but with no demand, there's not much point. Lazy blighter probly loafin around the house again."

The lady steps back and thinks for a moment and then smiles.
"That sir, will cost you a coin."
She lops the head off another fish, grinning.

"Madam you know these times are tough. I have barely a coin to my name. Is there anything else I could pay you with? A small errand? Credit at my general store?"
Orp's Liaison and Kinship talents were fine tuned for just such and occasion as this and she consented.
"Very well then. You know who makes all the darned money around ere? Bloody axle, that's oo. Now I know ee as connections and what ave you, but I still think ee's up to sumfin fishy. If ee's up to not good, we want to know about it. Ask around... we don't want none of what ee's peddling.
You ave a look into it and let me know what's going on alright?"

I think its a gamble either way. We find this Axle and it turns out hes a murdering idiot, then we may have a problem. But then again, if we just let this slip, we may miss our... your big chance.
"Go down the street ere. Take a left, past the burned down barn there. Backathat, you'll find an ol stock house. He has guards so watch your step. Ee ouses is goods downstairs but if you aint a regular, they're gonna be suspicious. Gotta be in iz goog graces so to speak.
The shop up to is a front."
She shoots him a 'what do you think of that' look like her information was something quite astounding and BAM, lopped another fishes head off. Orp notices the eads errr.. heads going into a pot.

The shop first, i think just going to the back is too much of a gamble. Maybe ask for axle in the front shop, then be taken to the back.

The two of them found the shop easy enough, it was not a large town and the woman's instructions were correct. The shop was inside the old barn, but a sign outside indicated it's presence. As they entered, another customer was seeing to his business. He looked at them somewhat sheepishly, gathered his purchased wares and scuttled out.
The merchant looks at them with a smile, a painted on fake smile.
"Good day gents, anything in particular you're after?"
