Grayell chuckled and shook his head again, but was only showing his agitation.
Settled down huh? Yeah... NO. She wouldn't have me, scared I might have caught some nasty ass flu from you lot. And I'll be done womanizing when you're done chasing men mate.
Thems were fighting words.
Fair... is me letting you take a long walk of a short pier Dick. The Catalina ain't up for grabs. I gave it to Rogers, it's his port and if you've got an issue with that, then you've got an issue with ME.
I'll be taking that skiff, damn Rogers. And damn you!
He leaped onto the Catalina and attacked Grayell, faster than he remembered and just as strong. His men jumped on as well, attacking the zombies, who fought back surprisingly strongly. One of the men headed for Marg, who didn't draw her weapon. She simply dodged the man's first few strikes, surprisingly sloppy for a pirate, then jumped forward a step and shouldered him into the water.
Grayell grinned wide as battle was joined and drew his sword in an instant. He swung up to stop Dick's blow and with a grimace and a laugh, went for a kick to the groin....
Grayell only laughed as the pirate jerked his leg... and then unwound. His standing leg sprung off the deck and with the momentum Dick provided, he spun around, snapping out with his other leg to deliver a savage gut kick before planting back on the deck.
Grayell turned to face him again, sword at the ready.
Maybe it's Dread Pirate Dickless nowadays?

Dick took the kick hard, clutching his gut and holding his sword out before him.
You miserable whelp! I'll teach you to--
All this time the pirates had been distracting Dick's men as Margrett casually walked up behind them and threw them into the water by their collars. The last one put up a fight, but stopped when she kneed him in the face. As her metal boot stomped on the fingers of one of them trying to get back into the boat, she wiped off her hands and punched Dick in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious. She sighed and kicked him into the water.
Grayell looked at her for a moment, almost shocked. He then started to laugh... and then laughed some more as he sheathed his blade.
Oh wow. That's gonna piss him right off. He won't show his face for a while after that one - worst thing that could happen to his reputation I imagine.
Grayell gave her a wink and then looked to the big bastard ship. He sighed contentedly.... then made for it.
The Harpy shouldn't be in this state. I don't have use for her... but maybe we can broker a deal. Come on Captain, let's see what he's stashed in there.
Grayell turned and saluted them in a pirate manner - one finger to the head and a nod. He smiled as they sank to their rest... and odd lot but all the honor of pirates none the less.
He continued up the gangplank onto the Harpy, looked about to see if anyone remained. He had two places of immediate interest - Dick's quarters and the hold.
Well, the captain is sure to have a couple of choice items. It might also give us a new lead on slave activity. It's common for pirates to sell prisoners into slavery - the one's they don't kill anyways.
But the cargo should be worth something. The ship is also loaded to the brim with cannons and munitions.
Grayell smiled, a very devious smile.
I can sell her to Rogers. I'll flip him a deal and no one will so much as bat an eyelid. Should be quite profitable.
Grayell headed to the hold first and waited on the GM to decide what they found.
Random cargo and loot worth perhaps a total of 5000 gold - if sold on a black market with the right connections. There is also some surplus military gear, armor and uniforms of a decent quality but still mundane in nature.
Grayell poured over the contents and shrugged... and then made for the Captain's quarters.
You know, this is pretty good. I think we can work with this...
Grayell rummaged through the Captain's quarters and didn't find much of interest.
That bastard likely took his best loot to the bottom. He can rot with it.
He rifled through Dick's desk and then pulled out another ledger. Flipping through it his eyes widened.....
Another slave ledger. We're going to be busy Captain.
More rifling through this and that and finally, a sigh.
That man was a terrible pirate. Not a single artifact. Alright, let's go speak to the Harbor Master.
Grayell left the ship and headed to Roger's office immediately grinning from ear to ear.
Catalina's back mate and I have to say, thank you. Our debt is settled eh? But meanwhile.... I have an offer I don't think you'll want to pass on.
The Harpy is mine again and I am selling her. She's got a few thou worth of cargo, some odds and ends here and there and is loaded to the hilt with arsenal. I want the surplus military gear to go to the new guard in Longstown(?), make sure Gloria gets it for her boys.
The rest is yours. Make me an offer.... and I am taking the Catalina. Wistvale lake, she's retiring mate. You get a warship and a whole load of merchandise. I don't want it, don't need the hassle.
The cat and gold. Let's see how much you've got Rogers.
Grayell chuckled and smiled, he knew this was one hell of a proposition.
