((I'm happy with leaving it as friends well met. Will give us something to build off of and cut down on intro time should we ever find ourselves in a thread together. Not everything has to be a battle for the ages. ))
I was born, shortsword in my hand.
Behind a shield, I'll make my final stand.
::Neko entered the training grounds a few days later, and feeling much better than she had on her previous visit.
She was adjusting the straps on her new gauntlets and not paying much attention to who, if anyone was there.
She was focused on her meeting with her cousin and her newfound, tho very welcome, responsibilities.
When she got them adjusted how she thought she wanted them, she made her way to one of the dummies and began cycling through her punch and block exercises. Starting with simple blows and steadily progressing up to ever extending combos.::
Vandal happened to find Neko in the training grounds or rather, inquired in the right places to then deduce she may have headed here.
"Well heya, minx."
Ramir wasn't sure whether his suddenly decided upon nickname would offend her, but if they were to work together to some degree, it might be best to drop the formalities. Of course, Neko might have other ideas in mind for his training under her.
He tossed a small purse her way though, once she looked.
"Your cousin asked that I get this to you. Apparently it was completed just this morning... or something."
Vandal had no idea what the package held, as it was none of his business. He looked on her with some anticipation though...
Neko's Vanguard Badge All members of the Vanguard now wear a small, but identifying badge, pinned in a concealed location. This allows the Vanguard to operate in a clandestine manner and still show their allegiance when required. Neko's badge is more elaborate than others, indicating her station as the Warden within Wistvale. It has also been enchanted in a manner that specifically benefits her, though caution must be taken during use, lest she reveal her being a member to those not of the cause. The badge is made from precious metal and the eyes of the wolf upon it glow with a hint of fire, indicative of it being enchanted. There is none other like it, as this item is made to order and entirely unique. - Masterwork accessory. - By touching this badge, Neko is granted a voice. She can speak as any other, as well as whistle, an important means of communication among operatives. - 1 slot.
::Neko stopped to greet Ramir with a nod and a smile. "Minx" was not as bad as "Kitty". Not by a long shot. But perhaps he would change his tune once their training began...
She was excited about what she found in the bag and immediately set to pinning it on her person.
((For the sake of time I'm going to assume she knows what it does.))
She glances about to see if anyone else is listening before hesitantly touching the brooch and speaking softly in a voice that is muddled with accents.::
Ramir doesn't answer, because at first he's simply grinning. Then that grin becomes a smile, which grows again and finally, he laughs in a relaxed but tickled manner. He wasn't laughing at her but instead, is really quite happy for her - something he'd rather she knew.
"Well. Just well. You have a voice that might make a man do foolish things. That was unexpected."
::The color rose in her cheeks beneath the light fur and for a moment she casts her eyes down at her feet. Was there something wrong with how she talked?
She could NOT look weak in front of her newfound student tho, and she refused to give him the satisfaction of thinking he had got to her. So she looked back up again and caught his eye. She flashed a smile and took a step closer and raised her hand.::
"Ready or not, I think its time."
::Her hand reaches out to touch you.::
"TAG!! You're it!!!"
::She turns on her heel and bolts from the training area as fast as her little form will take her.::
Well, turns out he was. Ramir wasn't 'related' to Neko and was well traveled, as well as well versed in the lusts of women and more importantly, his lusts of himself for them. Besides, Neko wasn't the first Kashir he'd found altogether.... fit.
She took off like a shot and with a laugh, he was quick to give chase. No, he wasn't pursuing with devious thoughts in his mind but well, the view from back here wasn't half bad....
