Grayell wandered into the tavern with a smile on his face. The town did indeed seem that much more enjoyable since he met someone... well it was just yesterday in fact.
He felt like an ass though, being so taken with thoughts of Serenity. Truth be told, his thoughts were harmless and only occasionally focused on how physically compelling he found her to be.
She was a looker alright but that didn't matter. He was thrilled with the prospect of a meaningful friendship.
A grown man of his age shouldn't be quite so smitten with the idea. But Grayell had indeed been very alone for a very long time and chewing on seal fat with a trader by a dwindling fire on the tundra wasn't a very fulfilling relationship. He enjoyed his time with the animals, something he was nurturing and find easier with each day, but to know someone - someone that seemed to be interested in what he said and did.... well it made him feel like a wealthy man. A new man.
Not entirely sold on the idea of getting smashed with grog, he instead wondered if she might frequent the tavern on this day.
Grayell had sat about some time, keeping to himself. Then something caught his attention. Something...... stirring. His senses were keen, keen enough to pick up on something so strange, so out of place here and yet so enticing.
He said nothing. Instead, he leaned through the tavern door and listened.... smiled and headed toward it.

Cephen wondered where everyone was heading, he paid for the drink, then left the Tavern, he saw where they headed off to, and went back to his hideout, to retrieve one of his stolen goods.

Agathaumas approached the ramshackle Tavern, he found himself puzzled as to how he was going to react to it. Was this good for humans? Was this just the style they prefer over here? Sapience, as enlightening as it was, was really, really confusing. He went to open the door, still disconcerted by the size of his hands, he fumbled around the handle clumsilly. Unable to get the hand of using his... hands.
The gauntlets that he had made also made manoeveuring difficult, why didn't he just use his face for fighting? It's a lot more practical, plus, free lunch. But noooo, he had to use these 'civilized' weapons. Apparently Humans were abit squeamish when it came to seeing other humans getting eaten, 'specially by Dinosaurs. He couldn't see the problem, their competitor just died, they could go for his widow easilly.
He entered the Tavern, and came across a few drinking Humans, with a couple non-humans... at least he wasn't the only oddity here. Which was nice, being a Dinosaur had drawbacks when it came to socializing.
Alec [M:118:6:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=412&page=1#1242]"I see," said the blind man to the deaf lady.[0:Wandering the stacks.][1:Present and accounted for.]
Walking slowly into the shanty town, Alec spots quickly what appears to be the tavern - or at least the heart of the town - a building lit, probably at all hours, light blazing from all the windows. He wanders over to the building, brushes a lock of silver hair out of his face, and pushes open the door. Looking just above eye-level, he sees the back of a reptilian head crowned with feathers. "I...umm.....are you.....is that...."dumbstruck, he shuffles around the creature, and edges his way to the bar.
"What'll you have, young'n?"
He ponders his gloves for a moment, then looks back the reptilian figure standing in the center of the bar. "A pint of your stoutest, if you please."

Silthea wandered up to the tavern, dully ignoring the strange surroundings. Not that she was any less unusual, with her long, fluffy ears and tail. She slipped deftly though the door, dodging the door as it closed. On the inside the tavern seemed a lot like the town. Filled with people of all shapes and sizes. Even the bartender was a bit odd, but that must have come with the profession. She slid onto a barstool, coiling her tail up around the leg to keep it off the ground, "Hi, uh can I get a water please?"
He picked up the mumbling speech from behind him, and noticed a human had just awkwardly shuffled around him. He felt slightly hurt and offended, weren't the humans meant to say excuse me or something to that effect? At least he'd tried to talk to him, maybe he was just nervous because he was... well. Quite noticible in this environment. "Ummm... hello, i'm Agathaumas." He tried to make the greeting slightly less awkward by putting a hand out. apparently this was meant to be another greeting, maybe it'll help slighty.

Alec sets down his flagon of ale, and turns on the stool. He takes in the creature once again, and then cocks his head to the side. "I'm sorry for my behavior. I just......I guess I wasn't ready for a 6 foot tall lizard-man in the bar." Pulling a glove off, I extend a hand and shake Aga's claw firmly. "I'm Alecsander - Alec to friends."

He twitched at Cephens remark, but he was pleased that this one, called Alec was polite enough to shake his hand. "Thanks, i'm new to the idea of 'sentience' so i'm quite choppy when it comes to socializing." he said, politely, with a smooth and airy accent. Despite his large and scaly form. He turned to Cephen. He kept his tail curved so he didn't hit anything. "Really? I thought it would be kinda.. obvious."
Rue ran over to where the man was laying. She was prepared to try her healing magic when she saw the man was already passed. She (hesitantly, because she wasn't sure if they had already left or not) looked at Simeon and the other man preparing to venture into the woods.
"I'll come too, if I may."
Since she had already missed the opportunity to save the man's life, she wasn't going to let another one slip through her fingers.
Antonio opened the door. He looked inside and gave a short smile, when he saw the lot.
This looks special. He went over to the bar and sat on one of the barstools.
"Bartender! Some ale please." His said it with a low voice, while removing some hair from his face in a very girly fasion. He pulled his headband from a small pocket behind his armor and placed it in the hair. The bartender came with the ale, looking at Antonio with interest. "Thanks." He said and tasted the beer. He looked at the bartender and realized that he had been looking at him all the time. "Ohh.. Please.." He said with a manly voice.
The bartender realized that Antonio was a man and turned around and walked to the other end of the bar. Antonio smiled and drank some more ale. "They never learn.." He whispered.

Alec glances at the person sitting next to them, and turns on his stool. "Why hello there. And what might your name be?"

Antonio turned his head. "Well, hello." Here we go again...He though. "The Name's Antonio.." He said with a manly voice and a smile. "And yours?"

Nodding, Alec takes up his flagon and takes a drink. "I'm Alec. Pleased to meet you, Antonio," he says, not losing any interest.
