Jonah nodded.
Save your strength, James. Everything's going to be alright.
The tribesman thought the driver deserved to die in peace, not on the floor in front of a tavern full or people. Jonah scooped James up into his arms and looked to Garret to lead the way.
((Sorry i wasn't on yesterday... I misplaced my laptop. If I didn't explain it well enough, James did die in that last post. He also requested that he be cremated not buried. Sorry if I didn't make it easy enough to understand...))
They walked out--a timid and confused Mily walking close to her father's side with her hand in his. They walked out toward the woods and began to gather wood for a pyre. Mily was confused. Garret told her that they were making a large campfire. James had been laid out gently on the grass.
At one point, Garret walked over and knelt by the body of the adventurous coach driver who had finished his job well. He removed the man's belt and searched his pockets for anything that shouldn't be destroyed.

((My bad, I guess I didn't read it properly.))
Jonah helped gather wood for the pyre. Today had been one long, exhausting day for the Akaiyan but he refused to rest until James' last wish had been fulfilled. He knew that Mily didn't completely understand what was happening so he stopped to give her a quick hug and told her that the driver was going to a better place.
The weary tribesman noticed Garret searching the driver's body - removing the man's belt - and was reminded on something James said back in the tavern.
((Sorry for making you wait once more. I needed to confirm the item and your reward. Thanks again for playing!))
The father could only shrug as he answered, "I'm not sure. Perhaps he just didn't want it to be destroyed. Maybe he thought you would be able to get some use out of it. I think he wanted to enable you to continue doing good. What do you think?"
He handed the belt up to Jonah.
Flint-Lighter Belt -A unique, custom-made, hand-crafted belt for fire magic users. The belt is made from a quality hardened and sealed leather. On each hip rests a rough metal rod jutting out just above a flat, fist-sized piece of flintstone. Cotton, covered in pitch, rests under the flintstone with a steel plate underneath it. Wax-sealed wool is used to cushion the flint-lighters against the hip. -Produces more than enough flame for a level 3 or higher fire mage to easily manipulate and burns for up to an hour if needed. -Cannot be used during a rainstorm or when submerged in water. -After 5 uses (or being used for an hour) the pitch-covered cotton must be replaced. -500g
"He also had a pouch of gold," said Garret. "I don't need the money and you saved our lives. You keep it." Garret handed over a pouch containing 50 gold coins.
The funeral pyre was just about finished. Garret spoke up once more, "I'll help you lift James onto the pyre but then I want to head back to town with Michelle. Would you be able to--finish things here? I'm going to go check in at the Inn."
((+Flint-Lighter Belt, 50g and 7 Acclaim for outstanding role play way above the standard!))

Jonah shook the hand of the man he'd only met this morning, although it felt like a lot longer.
Take care, Garret. If you're ever in trouble again...
He left the words unspoken. The tribesman had made friends today and would always run to them if they were ever in need of help. Jonah gave Mily one final big hug before they left and told her she would see him again one day.
Alone now with James' funeral pyre, Jonah stood watching the flames dancing under the night sky. He said his personal goodbyes to the coach driver, and apologies for not being able to save him, before quickly falling asleep amongst the stars. It had been a long day.
((Thanks Simeon, I really had fun with this! Can't wait for the next one. )
