Wonderful. I don't know about you, but it's been quite the day.
Grayell rested a hand on hers and walked her down the street to where she indicated her home was. Coming to a halt at her gate or otherwise gate like object that indicated the edge of her home.....
Grayell smiled, stepped back and bowed. Again, it wasn't formal or polished but nonetheless it was earnest and polite.
Well then, time I got home myself. Serenity, I have to say I have had a wonderful time. As long as you plan to stick around, I think this town will seem a little more appealing. If you have any need of me, you'll find me back on merchant lane in the herbal store. Or the tavern.
I...
Well I don't want to be brash but I hope to see more of you. Goodnight.
She couldn't help but blush again when she saw her home, or what she was forced to call a home, pitiful mess that it was. The only relief she could offer herself was that the whole town looked like this, so that alone served a decent excuse.
She took a few steps toward the door and turned around to face Grayell,
"Thank you for walking me home Grayell, and for a pleasant evening. It was much more than I expected from my first night here."
She couldn't help but grin at his last comment, "Of course you silly man, we'll be seeing each other again soon I hope. Good night!"
Most men who had the luck of showing her a fine time would immediately want to end it with sharing a bed, but she knew Grayell would be a gentlemen and not even think about it. Or so she assumed/hoped.
Yet he defended her honor and more this evening, even being so hasty as to hand her a small sack of gold.
Getting over herself she walked down her steps and toward Grayell, grabbing him by the collar to lower his cheek down to her where she planted a kiss.
"Don't expect me to give those out frequently," she winked, turning on one heel and going through her door finally.
Grayell smiled, rubbed his cheek and himself headed home. He didn't need more from her, but would treasure her friendship. He was sure of it.
(THAT WAS AWESOME.
Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed the interaction of our characters and I think that was a solid RP the entire way through. This thread coupled with the rp in the tavern that led us here, I am considering an adventure in quality and terms of length.
