Ivy cursed under her breath and her hold on her beloved bow loosened and she let it go, praying she would get a chance to reach for it again. Her hands shot out to reach in front of her so she would catch herself. She had no idea what she could do to get the person off her, but she hoped kicking would work just fine. So kick she did, or at least attempted. "Get off me! Im not a witch!" she shouted.

Ivy's bow skittered across the deck as she let it go to prevent a bump on the head. It came to a halt by the captain's foot and he bent down and picked it up.
"Pretty."
Ivy's kicking did little to help her. By the time she rid herself of the jester holding onto her legs, two others had her by the arms.
"Throw it in the brig! I'll begin the interrogations in a while."
Ivys eyes didnt leave her bow that was in the captians grasp. There was no way at all she would let someone take her bow from her. "Give that back." she snapped, trying to twist her arms away so she could reach her dagger. Not that it would help her much, but it was better then nothing, and she HAD gotten better at using it. "Interrogate me?! About what!?" she glared at the one holding her weapon. She would have mentioned that holding her liek they were wouldnt stop her from casting a spell, but she decided not to say anything, as she figured they would probably gag her. She would NOT be ok with that.

Two of the crewmen picked up Ivy's legs, so now four of them carried the little blonde girl unceremoniously down the stairs and through the door she'd seen earlier. As the half mer was taken down a short passageway another crack of thunder shook the ship, but at least she was now out of the wind and rain, although her clothes were now dripping wet.
Another set of steps and corridor brought the girl to the brig; a small room with no windows and only a short stool to sit upon. The four jesters threw Ivy into the room before locking the door - that had only a small, barred window - behind them.
Ivy scowled at the floor as she pushed herself up and rubbed her arms. Glancing around, her scowl deepened and she pushed herself up so she was standing. Taking the few steps needed to get to the door, Ivy pressed her face up to to the window and her aqua eyes peered out. "MR. A! WHERE ARE YOU!" she yelled loudly, not caring if the other people heard her, as she was determined for Mr. A to hear her.

Ivy jumped slightly at the appearance of the man and spun, a scowl already forming on her face. "What happened? Why have you been caught too? And what happened to the water?" she sounded just a bit worried, as she hadnt been in this kind of situation before. She had been expecting to use her bow and fight a bit, not be a prisoner for some reason that was unknown to her. "What reason do they have to interrigate me? What do they even do?"

Ivy sighed to herself when Mr. A got rid of his chains. She should have guessed he could do that..and she really DID want an adventure. She didnt like how they were in the sky and away from water. She glanced at the door quickly and back to Mr. A. "They're almost here?" she frowned a little and turned to the door so she could keep an eye on it. "Whats with them? Why do they think Im casting a spell?"

"We're up in the sky and you appeared from nowhere. I'd say it's no surprise they're a teeny bit scared.
But step back, my dear. Come away from the bars Because I get a feeling that- OH! Here they are."
Ivy could hear footsteps moving in her direction. A rattling of keys was quickly followed by the opening of the door. Two of the black-and-white checkered jesters enter the small cell, standing to either side of the doorway as the Captain walked in, carrying the girl's bow.
With the waterproof hood removed, Ivy could clearly see that the captain was in fact a living skeleton! He looked at the little blonde girl, then to both of his crewmen with a sigh.
"You may leave us."
When the two jesters failed to move, the captain sighed again.
"Nothing will happen. Go on. Shoo, shoo. Wait up on deck for my return."
This time the crewmen left the room and the skeleton captain shut the door behind them, then pressed the side of his skull against the wood, counting the jesters' footsteps.
"One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. Ok! They've gone." Another sigh and a smile. "I apologize a million times for the inconvenience, young miss. I'm in a spot of bother and, well...here. Your bow."
Ivy had jumped back a bit so she was away from the door, and watched the captain with wide eyes. He was a skeleton! It was very strange, but she HAD seen a pumpkin head, so she just blinked and watched. When he held out her bow to her, she gave him a perplexed look and reached out to take it, being careful so not to cause her weapon damage. "Thank you." she said gratefully. "Why are you giving it back? And whats bothering you?" Maybe this was part of her adventure; to help him with his troubles. Like she was going to do for the pumpkin heads.

"I am merely returning what is rightfully yours. I did not wish to take your weapon but I had to keep up appearances. I have prayed for help for days upon days and now you have finally come in answer. That is the reason I called you a witch, so my crew would not know who you really are. A good faerie."
The skeleton Captain gave a wide, hollow smile with boney fingers intertwined out before him.
"You see, my crew no longer follow my every command. Not since SHE came into my life. She wants the Nostrolus and my crew, so she's forcing me to...marry her!"
*POP*
Mr. A appeared beside the Captain, holding a bouquet of flowers. The odd man was wearing a flowing white wedding dress, topped off with his black top hat. The skeleton Captain didn't seem to notice his presences.
"A wedding! A wedding! Oh, such, such fun. Have you ever, Miss Ivy, dreamed of finding the One?"
Ivy blinked at the captian. A faerie? It was silly to think of herself as one, but she said nothing about it to the skeleton captian. She listened to him, holding her bow carefully before slinging it once again onto her back. "Who is SHE? And what do you need me for?" Perhaps she would fight this woman. "Why cant you just say no?" she was startled by Mr. A, and scowled at him when he held the flowers out to the captian, not noticing Mr. A wasnt being acknowledged. "No, I dont. Things like that are just plain silly." she snapped.

The Captain was completely oblivious to the fact that Ivy was talking in part to someone else.
"Well I disagree with you there. Marriage is a special union between two people, but alas, Miss Cherry Rose is NOT the one for me. For one, she does not love me. She knows that if we are wed, she will be able to permanently take control of my crew and ship.
It's very complicated. Let's just say that there will be a transference of magical proportions that will render my powers useless. My crew won't obey my instructions, the Nostrolus won't fly at my command, and I will no longer be able to open dimensional crossings. I'll be stuck here forever!
What I need you to do," The Captain moved closer and whispered in a conspiratorial tone, "is to get close to her. Find out how she has taken control over my crew and beloved ship already. It must be temporary, otherwise the wedding would have been called off and I would have been..." He dragged a boney finger across his skinny neck.
Ivy frowned. She didnt think it was right to use people in the way this woman was using the skeletal captain. She inched back a little to give herself more room and nodded at the captain. "Ill do what I can to help." she promised. "But I dont know how Ill make friends with her, or find out anything you want me to find out." Ivy wondered if the woman looked like the captain, or something else. She was excited to be out of the brig and somewhere else, especially if it was going to be an adventure.
