This didn't make any sense, why was she still doing this? This couldn't be a trick, her stance is all wrong for an attack, and she keeps pointing in the same direction, why?
He finally looked in the direction she was pointing at, it was a ruined flowerbed, Petunias by the look of the debris. It looks as if something had rolled around in it, extremely peculiar, perhaps this was the reason behind all this.
"Is that your flowerbed? Who ruined it, what's going on?"
"Me?" He answered, "But, i just got here, i was summoned, wasn't i?" He stared down at his clothes, with here covered in mud and debris, stunned and shocked. "I don't understand, these aren't my clothes, i don't remember..."
He began to realize, understand the situation he was in. "It didn't work..." He mumbled to himself, in his native tongue. "I am so very sorry, i will clean it up at once, but please hand me your blade." He gets down on one knee, and stretches his hand out to fetch the blade. "I can still make some equipment, while i am still in my frenzy state, please, i need the materials."
She felt sorry for the creature, he was possibly more confused than she was. Not wanting to waste this moment of clarity, she bows her head and offers the man back his weapon on two uplifted hands.::
Silent as a shadow on padded feet...
Fores [M:5:25:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=476&page=1#17802]The Iron Jester
Feros sculpted the blades into a medium-quality metal garden hoe, he had to pause, his head pounding with the strain of staying in control. "I can feel myself slipping away, there isn't much time." He heads over to the patch, and ploughs the field neatly, with the same poise and steadiness as his casting. "I do not know much about botany, but some plants grow from cuttings, perhaps these will do the same. But it atleast saves him the trouble of reploughing the patch."
He sculpts the hoe back into its default ingot form, and returns it to his pack. "I am so very sorry, i wish i could understand what's going on." He says, he could feel his heart steadying, but he could feel something else. The pounding headache returned, it felt as if his head was being smashed against a brick wall. He screamed in agony, the sheer blunt pain bringing him to his knees. It began to consume him, from his head to his toes, all he could feel was the rending, soul-destroying pain.
"What? WHAT? WHERE IS POOR FORES? Why are the Petunias UNSODDEN? What have you..." The magic strain took hold, and he began to shake and stumble. "No, the shaking, the fainting, Fores has used magic... but Fores... does not remember..."
Suddenly, his fingers balled into a fist, and he smacked the ground with all of his force. "No, i am Fores, I AM FORES. No one else, it's just me, ME!" He picked himself up, still unable to find his balance, he made an attempt to dash out of the straight. "You'll pay for this flea-bitten kitten! PUT FEROS BACK! I DON'T WANT HIM HERE!" As quick as a flash, the sharkman bolted into the distance, before finally collapsing in the middle of the street. His eyes filled with tears, he clutched his face and retreated into the fetal position. "I... don't want to go away."
::She had watched the sharkman tend the garden. Even helped him some in the end. Tenderly placing what petunias she thought were salvagable into the newly turned soil. Then the man had begun to yell and again and she knew peace was at an end.
Tired and dirty, she watched as he tried to run away. She wished there was something more she could do for him. To help him stay in control. As the sharkman stumbled and fell, she rose to her feet and walked quietly over to him. Kneeling beside him, she tenderly touches his brow. Trying both to be soothing, and to check if perhaps a fever was the cause. She had very little experience with medicine and illness tho. Perhaps there was a clinic or Mage Guild in the town that could help her, but she could not remember coming across one in her short time here.
The townsfolk, sensing the worst was over, began to slowly emerge from hiding. Neko watches them all from her place beside the fallen figure, hoping for a familiar face...::
He felt himself wading out of consciousness, Feros, Fores, it seemed impossible to differentiate the two. Fores opened his eyes, and before him lay a shattered hellscape of broken glass, each playing a different memory. One featured a giant Shark-like Sea Serpent, another showed Feros and a female Carcharian and another showed Fores, lying in a ditch in the shadow of a gigantic castle. "No... not the dark place, not the mirrors, LEAVE ME ALONE!" He shouted, his voice echoing through the void.
"What's the matter? I thought you wanted to stay in my head." The voice was loud, reserved, it was Feros's voice. The Monk appeared in his ceremonial garbs, his face covered in an ornamental hood. "I'm Feros, First of the Five Himaka Monks, Grand Makan of the Elemental Forge." He took a step towards Fores, and place his hand upon the crazed beings shoulder. "What are you? Are you just a remnant of the Karkauea's being, or are you something else? A Demon? A monster."
"NO, NO! I AM FORES, YOU ARE THE INTRUDER, YOU ARE THE MONSTER, GO AWAY, GET OUT!" The Sharkman was manic, his arms flailing around under his deerskin robe, his mask still covering his face. "I know, Fores knows everything, you're just in Fores's imagination, you're not real, just imaginary." The sharkman nodded in agreement with his own proposition.
"By the Karkauea, you're... you're." Feros trailed off, grabbing the mask, and pulling it upwards. Fores pulled back, pushing Feros away. "No... its ok, you don't have to be afraid of me." Feros pulled his hood down, showing his full face. Fores relaxed, letting Feros touch his mask. When the mask came off, both stood in sustained silence. "You... you are me, aren't you Fores?" he said, "A corruption of me... fragments, shards of myself." Feros placed another hand on his shoulder, his face weighed down by guilt. He gave and apologetic sigh, and his eyes turned a frightful yellow, andhis body gave in to the frenzy.
The Gold on the garment slunk away into the air, forming a massive ball of solid gold. "This cloak is as much a weapon, as it is decorative. By the end of this, my body will be mine again." His brow slunk, and his yellow eyes showed more than simply savage frenzy. "I'm sorry it had to come to this, Fores." He gestured for the ball to come down, and sure enough, it seemingly crushed the Insane Sharkman. "But you were never real, were you?"
As Feros turned away, he could hear a slight creeking sound, the metal ball staggered, and finally fell. It had been reduced to a shell, a mere hemisphere of what it once was. Fores stood, angrilly, with his fists surging with magical power, his eyes glowing the same yellow as Feros's. "Fores IS real! I am what you could never be, i own this body, IT'S MINE, ALL MINE!"
Feros stood in shock, retreating back into the shadows of his own being. "No, it's not possible, you're just imaginary!"
Fores grinned, "I am more real now, than you once were, Monk of the Blade. DIE, DIE! HAHAHA! He began to cackle madly, and shut a door of complete darkness over Feros. "Go, GO AWAY! GET OUT!" He felt himself being pulled out of his own mind, back into the light.
He could feel the air on his grey skin, the feel of flesh on him once again. He looked up at the Catgirl, and his eyes narrowed with hate. "GO. AWAY!" He kicked out at her, and cackled over the whispers and screams of the crowd. "I'M BACK! HAHAHA!"
::The kick struck her unexpectedly and she fell back in the dirt. She looked up and up and up to the beast towering above her, the insanity returned.
Scrambling backwards to gain some distance, she looked about the crowd for help but found none. These people were terrified and concerned only with their own safety and that of their families. It didn't help that she was a stranger here. She knew of only one place to go for help, and it lay outside of town. Going there would mean abandoning the townsfolk to this rampaging monster. She could not...would not do that.
She knew she had no chance of stopping him herself, her only hope was to keep his focus on her and pray the local guard would eventually show...::
Hex [M:40:1020:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=483&page=1#17914]"As the iron leaves fall, our attack will spring..."
Hex just happened to stroll through the town of Wistvale, happy as can be. With his smile on his face, almost as if it was glued on, he strolled with a type of swag that he hadn't had before. he felt happy, bieng in a town such as this, and just really... Happy. There were no other word to describe how he felt. He looked around at the seemingly quiet town and saw nothing of importance as of where he was, and just continued to stroll along.
As he strut across town, he could hear something getting closer and closer. He heard some commotion as if there was a fight, and a rather annoying laughter orscreaming of some sort. One of someone who is rather insane. As he approached closer, he saw something of a purple haired girl... No cat.... Cat girl? Something that resembled a female but had cat ears. Then there was another fellow, one who was rather... insane by the looks of it. Was that a shark-type creature? With a mask of metal? rather strange, as he had never observed one before, but had read up about it in his books. He forgotten what it was, however, and so he is rather dumbfounded as to what they are physically capable of, but he did see his quickness of feet. People had started to come out as if intrigued by the way these two were going at it, and Hex, feeling the need to, interjected with his own words as he approached.
"Excuse me, miss" he said to the cat woman. "Is there... a problem?"
Fores [M:5:25:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=476&page=1#17802]The Iron Jester
"HAHAHA! THE IRON JESTER LIVES! NO MORE FEROS NO NO NO!" He jumped up and down incessantly, cackling and screeching like a little child. But under his ectstatic exterior, he could hear Feros in the back of his mind. "Shards, fragments of me, a distorted reflection, a shadow of the real Feros."
Pah
He's not imaginary, is he? Fores was convinced that he was real, in control of this body. Could an imaginary being do that? This world was real, and Fores was real, he was alive and he didn't care who knew. It was time to cause some trouble. "Cat-laddddyyyyyyyy" He wailed "I've got something for youuuu!" He reached into his pack, pulling out one of his twin Tomahawks. "These pretty things belonged to Feros, but they are mine, all mmmiiiinee! HAHAHA!" The crowd around him, including this new... figure. "Wait wait wait." Fores said "Who, what, WHY ARE YOU HERE OUTLANDER?" He screeched at Hex.
::Neko got to her feet and took the briefest moment to look over the man that had stepped forward. She was not sure of his capabilities, but she hoped he could help her.
She nods quickly in response to his question and points at the looming, raging, sharkman.
Looking to the people left on the street, she makes shooing gestures towards them and is glad to see them take heed and go for cover once more. She did not want innocents to be hurt in whatever was to come.::

As Hex spoke with the cat lady, or at least, tried to, the shark man, who was no fool, saw him and called him an 'outlander'.
"Well, yes, I am not exactly a part of this... Quarrel, but you are scaring the townsfolk, Mr...?" He waited for a response from the man, as if he was talking to a child. He knew that people like this could be dangerous, and in a small town like this, there was no chance for an insane institution... That is, if there were any in existance.
"Sir, if you wouldn't mind, would you be so kind as to... you know... Put those things away before someone gets hurt...?" As Hex said that, he got into his battle mode. As with all mages, one has to transition from casual to battle in order to effectively use magic, so that he can tap into his magic reserves. Hex wasn't a master of any form of magic, however, he did have a dabble in the four main elements his mother taught him about: Fire, water, earth, and air. The four worked in harmony, as if helping each other. Capable of using those four, he armed himself in a stance, stepping infront of the cat woman as if to protect her.
He whispered to her: "if anything should happen, I can protect you... for a little while."
Fores [M:5:25:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=476&page=1#17802]The Iron Jester
He watched the conversation, and screeched angrilly, "I AM FORES! THE IRON JESTER, I HAVE A BIG IRON BRICK!" He brandished his blade in Hex's direction, but kept a careful eye on Neko. "You... magic stance, summoning your Himaka, like the Forge Monks, like HIM! YOU'RE JUST LIKE FEROS, YOU ARE EVIL! EVIL!" He swung the Tomahawk madly in his direction, not caring if he hit or missed.
::She slipped around the man standing between her and Fores/Feros. Dropping low, she aimed a sweeping kick to the sharkman's ankle, hoping to knock him off his feet.
His size was a definate advantage, and she meant to take that away from him. She just hoped she could find a way to subdue him without causing permanent injury...::

Fores [M:5:25:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=476&page=1#17802]The Iron Jester
"You know you can't keep this up, you'll need to call upon your magic again. And i'll be right there with it." Feros's words echoed in his mind, he didn't fade away like he planned, he was still here. His mind, his energy, he could feel it within himself...
But Feros couldn't be real, Fores is real, right? There was no way no way at-
The Catgirls kick caught him by surprise, he stumbled, completely losing his balance and hitting the ground. Melee wasn't going to solve this, he was up against a ranged opponent and a non-ranged opponent. They'd overwhelm him at this rate... oh damn, he was starting to think like Feros. Was there any end to this cruelty? "No, i will not use Magic, I WILL NOT! GET OUT OF MY HEEEAAADDD!"
"Its my head Fores, you know that." Feros's voice echoed again, only fueling the sharkmans rage.
"No NO NO!" Fores lunged again, this time with even more vigor. His anger directed at the Cat Lady.
