Kerag was covered in the Thing's black goop. It wasn't pleasant, but Kerag said nothing of it. His mind was occupied with victory and gold.
"Thanks for the help."
The orc turned to Margrett and showed her some of the coins he looted.
"Found some vaults, and skimmed off the top of a big-"
Kerag gestured with his arms for emphasis
"Bag of gold. Still need that Garrison don't we? Why not boost Wistvale's economy and hire some workers to help us build it? Leave a nice surprise for Zaedus and the Commander to return to."
Margrett thought for a minute, and then pushed the bag of gold back towards Kerag gently.
How about....you keep it. I have some other ideas. She sighed, wiping her forehead.
Let's get out of here. I'm done exploring.
Alec [M:118:6:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=412&page=1#1242]"I see," said the blind man to the deaf lady.[0:Wandering the stacks.][1:Present and accounted for.]
"Right, good plan," Alec says, slipping on the guts of the beast and regaining his balance before falling on his ass. Stepping onto a dry spot, he regards the slick floor coldly. "Away we go, yes?"
Come in under the shadow of this red rock, and I will show you something different from either your shadow at morning, striding behind you, or your shadow at evening, rising to meet you. I shall show you fear in a handful of dust.
Yeah, let's get out of here before anything else comes...
(Done. Alec and myself get 5 acclaim, because it was a long thread. Kerag gets 7. I gave him that armor thinking that he would take the orcish part and run with it; he did a better job than I had hoped, and his combat was fantastic. The jewelry and gold we took are worth $100 each.)
