"Well its not the ol headquarters, but I figure the nicest building here would be the council building."
Nero had been behaving rather well of late, rarely going into populated areas other than to maybe get a drink or purchase tools for the up keep of his home. He lived in the woods near the place of his birth and secretly kept watch over it from undesirables. He fancied himself a bit of a hero. Other than peaceful living he trained hard, for no other purpose than to fight Renquist on equal grounds one day and live through such a glorious battle.
Like him, though he did smell something odd about the town and it certainly wasn't the Worgen he met earlier.
He walked up to a random pedestrian and asked nicely, "Excuse me, but where is the council building?"
Nero followed the directions of the NPC type person and eventually found the council building. Inside he noted that it was surprisingly nice and well kept despite the appearance outside.
Well, let's see what Renquist wants with this one, I honestly was just looking to get a quick drink.
It would have to wait though as his senses were already flaring up the more he continued to walk into the building. Something was in here alright, and of course Renquist would be right, though the garou wasn't skeptical to begin with otherwise he'd have just headed straight for the tavern.
"Anyone home?" he said to himself with no real effort to shout it out throughout the building.
Nero raised an eyebrow after he followed the path of the voice to its source,
"That in all depends, which one gets me in trouble and possibly to lock horns with you for a while?" he said so in a straight forward matter.
Renquist was a little vague as to what he should do, but Nero figured he was just supposed to rough this one up a little, and only get serious if it got to that point. As easy going as he was now he'd be a fool to let his guard down, just like that moment with Marg not to long ago.
"Because I've a hard on for battle, or would you really believe a vampire sent me to test your might?"
Nero paced sideways as he studied the young blood, garou wise, he could smell the adolescence almost. Which was creepy for him as he didn't know he could do that for other garou.
Must be a sign that I'm getting mature....or very old, probably the old.
"Or we could just settle this on the table and drink to our hearts content, I haven't had that kind of fun in ages."
Or... I could lock you up and have the Captain beat some sense into you. If you're here for a fight then make your move. If you are looking for a drink, then I suggest our tavern.
But if you plan to continue to babble in this incessant manner, best you be on your way. I have better uses for my time.
"Have the captain beat some sense into me? If you mean Margrett...well I might like that actually, she's grown in all the right places since we last met. Sadly, it wouldn't be as fun as I imagine it."
Nero drew his dual blades out slowly from the holsters on his back and did a few practice swings with them, "So I'll just take my chances with you then if you don't mind, otherwise my lover will be upset and I'd rather fight you than him."
Grayell sneered as he slid his silver blade from it's sheath. He paces in the opposite direction to Nero, eyes locked on his center, looking for any twitch.
You know, I don't think she'll mind when I remove your flapping tongue from your head. When I am done kicking your ass, you can tell your master that I'll be looking for him.
Grayell's eyes flashed a reddened, wolfish pupil for a moment.
You won't find me so easy to beat mutt. I'd suggest you don't hold back... once you're done talking.
"What if I do find you easy to beat, can I go easy on you then?" Nero said chuckling to himself.
Ah I remember when I used to get that upset fairly easily, or perhaps I don't know how much of a pain I really am.
Nero began to sort of walk forward with arms extended, clearly not taking Gray very seriously. His position was very relaxed and he kept an amused expression on his face, for a while until he noticed the thing around Gray's neck.
He stopped short within striking distance of his opponent when he felt it, then saw the fang.
"Now where did you get that?" he said pointing a sword at Gray's accessory.
Grayell's eyes flared, his jaw flexing as the kick came in. In an instant his sword had folded in his hand and with a quick sweep back, he brought the pommel crashing directly into the bottom of Nero's foot.
He hissed as he bounced back and tossed the sword aside. He was grinning though, maliciously grinning. He rolled his own neck and then rocked his shoulders forward, one two quick jabs at his waist level.
Huh. Been awhile since one of you attacked me in human form. But then... you're Garou. A shame I'm going to have to hurt you then.
"I like to play fair, I can transform now if you like but.....just wouldn't sit right with me unless you do it." he cracked a smile at the end of that.
"Besides, I prefer this over doing that, I actually like these pants."
Nero appeared to be an older man with the mind of the child, or a complete idiot. Either way, he was having fun.
He braced himself, not bothering to block the punches by Gray and felt them full on, knocking Nero back a little.
"Wow, you are really strong, you sure you're not cheating and using a little bit of garou?"
Nero brushed the area where the punches landed and breathed heavily. Taking in one final breath he stepped forward, winding back his right arm and bringing it full straight on to Grayell's face.
