Surprised by the sudden retaliation, she instinctively drew her sword to block, but realized her mistake as the hammer and sword clashed, bringing her to initiate a last minute dodge. Never had she taken on one who wielded hammers such as her. She cursed herself for not being as strong as she is...
That's alright. That was good. Let's try it again. She held her hammer and spread her hands, sending the handle towards Tallia's gut. It was weak and she would never have done that otherwise, but wanted to see how she would react.
Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
Reacting instinctively, she jumped into the air, landing onto the hammer, pushing downwards. From there, she jumped over Margrett, facing her back. Before she realized what she was doing, she had already drawn her dagger from her concealed pocket. She stopped, and quickly hid the weapon in her pocket before anyone had seen what she was doing. Stepping back, she waited for Margrett's next move.
She felt a bit sorrowful that they were not able to part together, but she was too eager to travel with Margrett, soon placing her sorrows beneath her.
"O...OK..."
Abruptly sheathing her sword, she placed herself close to Margrett's side, awaiting the rest of their adventure.
Margrett nodded and started down the road, jerking her head towards various buildings.
Not sure how long you've been in town, but we're going to need to check a few of these places. Smuggling rings like to move stuff in and out of certain houses here. That one down there first. She shot a look back.
I'm going to assume you're not much of a....people person.
Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
She felt a little offset by her statement, but she couldn't really say she wasn't right. Living had not been easy.
"I... I suppose... You could even say... I wasn't supposed to exist... with people..."
She had wondered how her humor had fared with others, given that some seem to react very differently than she anticipates. This time was no exception, so she gave an awkward smirk towards Margrett. Not wanting to deter her from her duties, she brought her back to the task at hand.
"U...uhm... Which one... shall we inspect first...? I..."
She sniffed the air, trying to show off a bit of her own abilities.
Tallia's nose served her well, an armored orc approached from the street, running full speed before he caught sight of Margrett and the girl. He skidded to a halt, saluting the Captain.
"Recruit Kerag reporting for duty. Sorry for my lateness, after clean up I spent some time moving into the house we checked the other night. Won't happen again." He said out of breath. His demeanor contrasted with his grim appearance, glad in heavy armor, a large axe strapped behind him and a helm which obscured most of his features, one glowing red eye peering at both of them.
"Oh and who is this?" Kerag tilted his head at Tallia, waiting for an introduction.

At a distance Venom is seen walking towards them. As he got closer they could see he did not have a good sleep. His eyes were baggy and he could not stop yawning. Apparently he had a long night. Once he reached them he saluted to Marg.
Morning Captain... Cleaning every crack sure did take a while at the hall. *yawn* Sharpening my blade is what kept me up all night. I think it'll cut through wind now.
