Bella doesn't take Zarr's offered hand, but does touch his chest lightly and smiles brightly.
"Well, Argent and Zarr. Your friend is the strong, quiet type, huh?"
She said that with a dose of humour, something one might find infectious. Meanwhile, a look into the northern room with the torchlight would confirm the source of the smell - a handful of rotting body parts, mutilated and torn apart.
Bella didn't seem too putt off by the smell and had little interest looking into it further, as she was busily patting herself down some. Her expression hinted at her frustration.
"Well bother. All of my possessions are gone. If you boys are planning on hanging about, I might just tag along and see if I can't find them. Is that ok with you?"
He chuckles at the jibe, but the mirth dies when he sees the remains in the room beyond. He steps forward to shine his light better inside the space and tries to use his spear to prod and shift the remains about to see if there is some clue as to what had happened in here.
"Belladonna, I can not speak for my companions, but I for one would be glad to have you accompany us.
Tell me though, have you seen anything during your imprisionment here? Anything connected to these remains?"
I was born, shortsword in my hand.
Behind a shield, I'll make my final stand.
If he wasn't blushing yet, he was now with her touching his hairy chest.
Zarr don't mind if purty lady come along. She did give us light.
He looks over to Argent, wondering what else was in the room that he was not able to see.
Anything else other than the bodies, Haisheth?
Although the woman was pretty and very seductive, he did wonder if she had any part in the deaths of all the bodies or at least have seen what did this to them.
Miroslaw remained silent, but enjoyed the description the woman gave of him. A slight, airy chuckle came forth as his gaze turned from the beautiful woman. At sight of the mutilated parts, Miroslaw's smile quickly left.
It was a grim sight to behold. On top of that, being in the same room as where the woman was being held a few possibilities. It meant that the woman could have had some information or have been involved in some way. Argent beat him to the mark with the question. Miroslaw simply led his eyes back to the woman, anticipating what she may have to say.
Death is no more than turning us over from time to eternity. Whether that eternity is damnation or salvation is determined in the time we have.
"No. Like I said, I lost a fight and woke up as you found me. My arm still hurts like the blazes, too."
Bella looked into the room, now that Argent had it illuminated and turned away just as quickly. It was a gruesome sight and only smelled far worse, so none could blame her. The bodies had been hacked apart and largely mutilated, the parts being terribly removed from whatever they were attached to prior. They had clearly been here some time, but some were in different stages of decomposition. There was no whole body though, not so far as anyone could tell. A cursory search of the room finds nothing else of interest.
It seemed that they had saved her just in time, before she would have been another mutilated body on that pile.
Who did you lose the fight to?
Maybe the answer to that question could lead them to who was behind all of this. Either way they still had alot of rooms to cover and their investigation had only begun.
His search having shown nothing of use or interest outside the state of the limbs and why they were there, he withdrew from the room and turned to face the others.
He would not find any answers standing here, so thinking about it now was a waste of energy. He could only hope that delving further into the sewers might shed more light on what was going on.
He flashed another smile at the woman, but addressed his companions.
"We know it was the Notcis. She may not have had time to catch the person's name.
However, M'Lady, any information you have might prove useful. Perhaps the people we seek are in league with your jailor."
moved towards the door they had entered through to continue on furhter into the dungoen as he awaited her answer.
"Shall we continue on then while you fill us in?"
I was born, shortsword in my hand.
Behind a shield, I'll make my final stand.
Miroslaw stretched his back enough to continue onward now. He gave one more long stretch before he moved out the door they came in stating, "A good idea. We've a lot of ground to cover yet." He looked around before taking a step back from the doorway to allow the others to exit the room in the lead. Miroslaw would be the caboose. He questions, "Where we off to next then, map holder?"

Death is no more than turning us over from time to eternity. Whether that eternity is damnation or salvation is determined in the time we have.
Belladonna smiled politely to conceal a smile. These lads talked too much and really, standing about in a pile of corpses was not on her to do list. Perhaps they'd end up being a group of those all too common adventurer hopefuls, having inherited Daddy's armor and false ego.
She herself made to leave the room by the door Zarr had broken in.
"It's not professional to pry so, but I am not so certain he had anything to do with this. It doesn't seem like his shtick."
Belladonna was scratching at her arm as she spoke, unable to piece together the events since she'd been knocked out cold.
He stood waiting at the corner just outside the door, his back against the wall. As people began to exit behind him, he turned to lean out around the corner and glance down the hall leading to Room 12 and beyond before drawing back to glance down at the map.
"There is a door ahead that leads to the room marked '12' on the map. As loath as I am to leave it behind us, I feel we should move in a clockwise path. Head up to Room 5 and circling around. That way we have checked all areas before we reach the stairs and hall shown at the bottom of the map, here."
Juggling his equipment, he tries to hold the map in a way that he can show his fellows the path he is suggesting and the areas he mentioned.
"Unless you lot feel it unnecessary to check every corner and we should head straight to what may be another level."
I was born, shortsword in my hand.
Behind a shield, I'll make my final stand.
Zarr liked the Haisheth's plan. He exited the last room and headed towards room 5. This looked like it was going to take a while to check all the rooms. And who knows who else they would find chained up to rescue, not to mention whatever villains they bump into that would have to fight. Fighting in a cramped room did not fit well with the old Soren.
He begins to walk down the long hallway towards Room 5, where the map has the letter a.
Miroslaw looked as Argent tried to show his plan. It seemed a solid idea. "Aye, a good idea. I do believe we should check each room. No telling what else we shall meet." It was going to be a long time in these cramped hallways. Miroslaw shuddered at the thought as his attention settled in on the already increasing light pain in his lower back. "Please, lead the way." He stated and would fall in behind the group, including the new member.
Death is no more than turning us over from time to eternity. Whether that eternity is damnation or salvation is determined in the time we have.
With Zarr in the lead, the corridors are somewhat harder to navigate, given that his considerable bulk does a considerable job of blocking out their limited torch-light. Still, they manage to wander their way down the narrow passageways until they arrive at the room to the room marked '5'. The 'a' reveals nothing and there are no notes to indicate what it may have meant to someone.
But this door is large, sturdy and made of what may be iron. It is also closed. They hear no movement, see nothing unusual and there is nothing else which occurs that gives any cause for alarm - or elicits a reaction at present.
"Hm. Well that looks like an important door. I do wonder what's behind it..."

The old Soren readied his shoulder but then stopped just before trying to knock the door down. He took another look at the map for a second or two before looking back over to the group.
There are many doors ahead of us, if Zarr can avoid as many as possible, it would be better. These shoulders are not as strong as they used to be.
Seeing how the lady had some type of magical skills earlier, maybe she could open the door for them and save the pain for the ones she couldn't open.
He looks over to Bella, hoping she would try and open the door.
